Alano Miller is an actor and producer from Orlando, Florida. He is the youngest of eight and is of Cuban, Bahamian, and Jamaican descent. His parents, an architect and an educator, greatly influenced his development and choice of vocation. He began public speaking at the age of five and by the time he graduated high school, he had won numerous awards and titles. He holds three national titles in oratory and won the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts Award in 1997. His first theatrical role was as Oliver in Oliver Twist and he has since gone on to appear in numerous plays, including Fences, Native Son, and Six Degrees of Separation. He holds a BFA from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film. Described as sensational, transfixing, and a revelation, Alano Miller is an impressive talent.
